Our Story
Don Don Dumpling — A Taste of Home, Shared with Love
Two girls from China met by chance at Melbourne Airport while on a working holiday — and discovered three things in common:
They loved food.
They loved Australia.
And they wanted to share the best flavours of China with their new home.
From that simple meeting, Don Don Dumpling was born.
At Don Don Dumpling, we believe food connects cultures. Every dumpling we make is a little piece of China wrapped in warmth, friendship, and the spirit of Australia. Our restaurant is more than a place to eat — it’s a celebration of both worlds, where East meets West over a shared love of good food.
Blending modern style with traditional roots, we create dumplings that are authentic, healthy, and bursting with flavour. We care deeply about our ingredients, our environment, and our community — making sure every meal is fresh, nourishing, and affordable.

Our Community
Our local community has always been at the heart of Don Don Dumpling.
We partner with kindergartens and community organisations by providing free meals, helping support children and families in our area through food and care.

Such a delicious range of dumplings, yum cha style snacks and stir-fried dishes at a seriously affordable price - particularly in this economy! The portions are super generous especially for the fried rice and stir-fried noodles - so you are guaranteed to leave feeling full and satisfied. My recommendation is to get the dumplings pan-fried as they cook it perfectly to get that beautiful pot-sticker crunch on the bottom of the dumplings! I also love the panda decor around the store especially the super cute panda dipping bowls and dumpling shaped dishes. The staff were also so friendly and very accomodating. If you're in the area - would highly recommend visiting!

This hidden gem is a MUST visit. They’re serving up delicious dumplings and Asian dishes in a cozy, local setting. Their friendly staff highlight any menu specials and we loved the presentation - HOW CUTE are the dumpling and panda dishes

Forum way Epping, just off Edgar's Road.
Nice Place and Great Food and Great Prices, Served with a Smile By Chiyin who Gave us Great Service.
Our Food was Fresh and Delicious 😋 Yummy.
We had the Chicken and Black Bean , Special Fried Rice and the Special of the Day, 5 Spring Rolls and 5 Shui all for $10.
Every Day they have a Different Special on.
I also ordered a Thai Milk Bubble Tea which was very Nice.
They also have just launched a new Kids Menu and Specials.
I would Highly Recommended this Place, Dine in or Take Away.
Not a huge Searlting area, enough for 12 people.
Easy to Park, Good Location. Don Don Dumplings is a Franchise Restaurant all over Melbourne.
